Constructing Narratives
›The Dictionary Of Freedom – A Workshop On Migration‹, hosted by Sheena Calvert (RCA), Maarten Cornell and Niels Schrader (KABK)
In November 2018, I joined a workshop on migration, exploring non-linear storytelling and diverse texts on the subject from poetry, journalism, and academia.
This experience sparked my interest in the interplay of language from different sources on the same topic, leading to the creation of "Constructing Narratives."
This participatory installation, exhibited at the RCA Work in Progress Show in February 2019, invited viewers to interact with magnetic panels displaying words related to freedom, borders, and migration. As audiences engaged, they crafted evolving collective narratives, redefining socio-political perspectives throughout the exhibition.
